Spending the day in New York City calls for the perfect outfit. I always like to look my best because you never know who you’re going to run into. This summer I’ve been finding myself wearing a lot of T-shirt dresses. They are so easy to dress up or stay casual. T-shirt dresses are easy breezy and super comfortable, which is always a plus especially in the hot weather this summer. Whoever came up with combining a T-shirt with a dress is a genius. T-shirt dresses have been a huge trend this summer and I love it!
When I was picking out my outfit for spending the day in the city kate spade gave me some inspiration. Her kate spade New York spring 2015 ready-to-wear collection is full of fun colors and patterns. I fell in love with almost all the looks. Look 19 especially caught my eye. The thick striped T-shirt dress and flat sandals were the perfect outfit for me to look fashionable walking through the city.
To imitate this look I wore a striped black and white T-shirt dress from Forever 21. I paired it with tan flat sandals and a tan floppy hat. The floppy hat completed the outfit perfectly. I added some rings and Alex and Ani Bracelets to add some of my personal style through accessories. Lastly, I wore a small KORS Michael Kors cross-body bag over my shoulder. I beat the heat, but also kept it trendy.
