When thinking about the lovely spring season, one probably envisions bright colors and floral patterns. This is exactly what Chanel’s spring 2015 couture collection encompasses. Karl Lagerfeld has outdone himself with not only bright and bold colors and floral accents, but also with tweed, fringe, beading and much more. The inspiration for this fashion show seemed to be an almost futuristic garden, which looked great with the Spring 2015 designs. When flipping through the show’s 73 different looks, I couldn’t help but to get some of my own inspiration!
With Chanel’s gorgeous colors and accents on the brain, one may wonder how they could find similar looks not only for every day life, but for that tricky spring to summer transition. One of my favorite dresses fits in with the bright colors and intricate details of the Chanel line. With the mandarin neckline of detailed beading and the bright coral color, this maxi dress encompasses some of the Chanel line’s features without looking out of place. I decided to pair this maxi with a pair of Michael Kors wedges and a gold bangle bracelet to really give it that “spring going into summer” vibe.
This outfit could easily be worn if you’re going to a graduation or on a fun summer date! Maxi dresses are always a great choice for any fun summer event, and bright colors are also always popular, along with detailed beading or embroidery. The Chanel spring 2015 couture looks really inspired me to keep up with the bold colors and intricate accents, especially this time of year!
