Navy is a symbol of style, class, elegance and sophistication, but doesn’t always make it into people’s closets. Perfect for any occasion, navy can be dressed up or down, worn all year long and is also more effortless than its black counterpart. I took style inspiration from Banana Republic’s fall 2015 ready-to-wear fashion show for my post this week. The navy featured in the runway was gorgeous and timeless. My favorite neutral is navy as opposed to black. Black can be harsh and very unforgiving as navy is flattering on every color and body type. The rest of Banana Republic’s collection features deep bold colors, navy paired with solid color blocking pieces and laid back easy-going pieces. I aspire to look classic in all of my every day looks, so this collection is on my radar as I transition into fall.
As an adaptation of the navy blocked pieces, I wore this look shopping and running errands with my boyfriend.
