STYLE GURU STYLE: Always Off-The-Shoulder

The off-the-shoulder trend is taking over for the upcoming spring and summer seasons—whether it be off-the-shoulder dresses, long sleeve tops, short sleeve tops, or 3/4 length sleeve tops like the one I have on. I am all about showing some shoulder; I think it adds a fun, flirty vibe to any look. Ruffle sleeves are also all the rage—another adorable, feminine detail that I absolutely love. This top has a tiny ruffle detail that I think really makes it.

I grabbed this super sweet and girly off-the-shoulder button-down top and decided to pair them with some rugged, distressed denim. I love matching girly pieces with more rough looking pieces to really contrast the individual looks. Truthfully, I am grabbing for this pair of denim every chance that I can get. I think they look awesome paired with any top I own.

Off-the-shoulder tops like these are great for going shopping and grabbing lunch with your friends, but they can also be transitioned into a summer night look. Throw on some lipstick and heeled sandals and you’ll be good to go.

I am wearing my absolute favorite horn choker on a silver chain with my everyday small silver diamond necklace. I also have on some small, simple hoop earrings, and I finished the look off with a pair of classic, high top white Vans. These go along with my “rugged” look, as they are pretty beat up. Catch me in sneakers with just about every single outfit I wear. I always choose comfort in the shoe department.
