At the end of the spring semester, many of us go into autopilot as we continue to sip espresso, study for exams, cement internships for the summer and throw in the occasional trip to the gym. I was inspired by Altuzarra to create my own professional look that did not take too much thought but still looked smart. I started out with a classic white button-up blouse, which I paired with cropped black trousers. While it may not seem like anything out of the ordinary, it is more important that it looks polished without taking too much time out of your busy schedule. While I chose to embellish it with a few accessories, you can dress this up as much or as little as desired. The simplicity of the main pieces place more emphasis on the professionalism brought out in the sharp white collar and a great pair of pumps, which could be easily exchanged for a pair of pointed flats.
The bottom line is, if you want to have a busy schedule but do not want to neglect your fashionable reputation, a sleek button-up and a tailored pant will look as witty as you feel when it comes to naming your favorite fashion designers!
