STYLE GURU STYLE: A Sunny Spring Brunch

Spring has officially sprung, which means it’s time to revisit your favorite warm weather activities! There is one particular activity during this season that I love the most and that is brunch. While I do enjoy it year round, an outdoor, springtime Sunday brunch seems to always bring about extra fun. Sitting down to a morning of avocado toast and iced coffee outdoors with friends is a perfect opportunity to break out your new spring styles!

My favorite outfit for a spring brunch is this striped cropped jumpsuit! One great thing about jumpsuits is that it is literally your entire outfit. This one is an effortless way to stay on trend with the striped pattern and cropped cut. Not to mention, when brunching outdoors you can get a lot of sun on your shoulders (or accidentally burn them like I did) to prep for your summer glow! Here is a similar jumpsuit from Forever21 that would be perfect as well! I paired the jumpsuit with some strappy black heels, but if you want to go more casual it also would look great with some white sandals. You can shop this similar pair of black heeled sandals to achieve the same look! I kept the accessories minimal since the striped jumpsuit is already pretty bold. I added my turquoise stone necklace because I love turquoise for spring/summer! This Chan Luu necklace would be another great way to add a simple accessory to the Forever21 jumpsuit! Finish with a white bucket bag like this one (the perfect spring purse) and some fun sunglasses like these round rose gold ones, and you’ve got a perfect brunch outfit!

Brunch has become a trend in its own right. It fills up our Instagram feeds with pretty drinks, beautiful avocado toast, and sunny views. This makes it the perfect time to show off your on-trend brunch outfit next to that beautiful plate of food for the ultimate social media post! This striped cropped jumpsuit has everything you need to spend a day stylishly eating and chatting with your girl gang. In this outfit, you’ll definitely be a head-turner at your favorite Sunday brunch spot!
