STYLE GURU BIO: Tabi Hoshmand

A warm welcome to those unfamiliar to my page and a ‘hello, again,’ to the returning Fashionistas/os! I am so thrilled to be writing for CollegeFashionista with this being my second semester. I have accumulated more shoes, purses and clothes over the summer, and even a little more insight into the fashion world, and I’m excited to share it with you here!

I am currently a second year, studying Communications at San Diego State University, and feel the need to capture my ‘eye for fashion’ some more. On top of that, I write for The Odyssey, where we are working to bring a new approach to develop content and where I intern as a writer. I have gone as far as running my own personal blog, where I share all kinds of inspiration. As I say in my about me: “I started this blog with two things in mind: I adore fashion and I am always writing, so why not put the two together?”

Fashion and writing have been quite a great outlet for me as it has left me more inspired than ever before. I have never been too shy in expressing myself because I find my confidence lies in my ability to dress well and communicate, unlike others. As far as my own personal style, I strongly believe in simplicity and strive to be chic; however, style evolves and so does my taste, so one month I might love knee-high boots, but the next, I’ll focus on booties. This week I went for the simplistic vibe I love so much. I paired my grey, knit midi dress with white accessories: vintage-inspired sunglasses and a white structured bag. I hope that you find my articles fun to read and the trends inspiring. I love that each person can manipulate fashion to their personal interests. Check me out here at the beginning of each month!
