STYLE GURU BIO: Samara Halperin

Hey there, Fashionistas! I’m so excited to continue being a part of CollegeFashionista and getting to show off some of the great styles on your campus. I love analyzing fashion and learning about new, popular trends. CollegeFashionista has really helped enhance my writing and photography ability by allowing me to write about things I enjoy. I have learned to be more outgoing and willing to approach new, stylish people. Check in with me throughout the semester to get the latest tips and tricks for Floridian winter and spring fashion on your campus. You may even be the next person I come up to on campus!

Although it may be hard to believe, there is a small portion of the year where Floridians get to break out their coziest sweaters and show off their favorite winter styles. In this outfit, I wear a solid red, long-sleeved shirt that is open in the middle to keep my top from looking too plain. My tan cardigan sweater is definitely one of the most comfortable items in my closet. It contrasts really well with my red shirt and is very warm for when needed. My dark blue jeans are a basic that I love to wear with anything. Cuffing the bottom of the jeans and putting them with booties are a great way to dress up an outfit for a cooler day. The dark gray/tan color of my shoes blends well with the rest of my outfit but brings in a new color as well. Sweater weather is always the best time of year, and I am so excited to share a bunch of great looks this semester.
