STYLE GURU BIO: Morgan Howard

Hello Fashionistas/os! My name is Morgan Howard and I am going to be a freshman at Parsons School of Design in Paris this fall. I grew up in what folks call the “Gateway of the West” which is also known as Saint Louis, Missouri.

I am a firm believer in the old saying, “The higher the hair the closer to God” and “The higher the heel the closer to heaven.” There is no unacceptable time to wear high heels. It is always better to be overdressed in a situation than under. I am the girl that would wear high heels to the supermarket. Some might say that I have a shoe addiction, but in reality, I am just providing a home to lonely shoes while helping boost the economy all at the same time.

I’ve been sassy since birth and I don’t plan on changing anytime soon. One day you will find me dressed in all-black rocking a pair of stud heels, then the next day you can find me in a floral-patterned tea length dress with a classic pair of Mary Jane heels. I couldn’t really explain my style to anyone, because I can’t even explain my style to myself. Nina Garcia says, “Style is a deeply personal expression of who you are, and every time you dress, you are asserting a part of yourself.” My style is composed of multiple different categories: boho, pretty in pink, back to black, rebel rock, Parisian chic, you name it and I probably have worn it.

Going to school in Paris is going to be an experience of a lifetime and I am excited to bring the Parisian street style to CollegeFashionista!
