STYLE GURU BIO: Mallory Bailey

It’s that time again. It’s a fresh semester with new classes, new beginnings and a new year. New year, new me, right? While your textbooks might be changing, your Style Gurus are still here ready to track down the newest batch of best dressed. I am so thrilled to be joining you guys again for another semester in the lovely world of CollegeFashionista. This past semester has been pretty fabulous if I do say so myself. However, if you are new to the CollegeFashionista sphere, here is the rundown on me a.k.a. Malpal.

I’m a born and raised Mississippi gal with a summer birthday and a few too many Wildfox jumpers. I am a shoe hoarder, music lover and crime show watcher. I take more photographs than the average human, but who is counting? I was born in the ’90s, so I obviously own 1200 scrunchies and 55 tattoo chokers. My personal style tends to be more on the bohemian side with a bit of an edge (because I’m a ’90s girl, of course). Some of my favorite brands are Free People, Wildfox and For Love & Lemons. I live for flowing skirts, lace things and endless rings. How could I forget my rings this far into a bio? Rings are my absolute favorite. My collection is intimidating and also, the reason behind several days of indecisiveness. Another accessory I can’t seem to part with is a good hat. Maybe it’s because my hair isn’t always on its A-game, but I couldn’t make it without this black hat or any of my others. I’m glad to see this trend take off. Maybe I’m not the only one who wakes up with a few more tangles than expected.

Well, that’s a wrap on this semester’s bio. I am looking forward to another semester with you guys. I’m even more excited this time around because I have new Ole Miss Style Gurus with me! Check them out. They’re pretty cool.
