STYLE GURU BIO: Kyairah Williams

Allow me to reintroduce myself my name is KI! K to the I (pronounced like key), and I can proudly say that I am a returning Style Guru for the 2016 spring semester. During my time as a Style Guru last semester, I learned how to successfully write an interesting blog and even gained some exposure to write for other websites such as TagDMV and Make It Simply Grand event planning.

I spend most of my time behind the lens of my Canon T5i (I named her Susan) capturing the beautiful things in life or creating masterpieces for my future films. My major is TV and Film Production, and I can guarantee that my name will be in the credits for an Academy Award winning film in the near future. In addition to my love for film, fashion has always been a huge part of my life. Starting at the age of 11, I’ve styled models for UJ Fashions runway shows as well as photographed and modeled for my friends’ clothing lines. Not to mention, I won best dressed all four years of my high school career; which leads me to why we’re here in the first place: my outfit.

One of the staple colors of the season is olive green, so I’m wearing an olive green cardigan to set off the neutral colors in the rest of the fit. I’m also wearing a gray turtleneck because let’s face it, it’s freezing, and a girl has to stay warm somehow. I’m also wearing my favorite leather hoop skirt and knee high suede boots, and what better way to tie it all together than a black wool floppy hat and gold jewelry for a smooth finish.

During my second semester as a Style Guru I’m hoping to gain more blogging experience and let the world know how we Bison here at the Real HU slay on a regular basis.
