STYLE GURU BIO: Kealy Robertson

Hi college Fashionistas! I’m Kealy, I’m 20 years old and I live in Connecticut. I am going to be a senior at Providence College next fall. I am beyond excited to be a Style Guru this summer. Since I was a little girl, I have been in love with the world of fashion. On a daily basis, I find myself stalking clothing websites such as Revolve Clothing, Free People and Parker NYC. I love finding new Instagrams with up and coming fashion trends that link me to designers and brands that I have never encountered before.

I worked in a clothing store for three years in my hometown. This is where I realized that I wanted to one day pursue a career in fashion. Clothes make me excited. I love to see the new trends and styles of each season. The world of fashion is ever changing, and that is the beauty of it. Someone can wear something that is totally unique to him or her and even though they may not mean to make a statement, they can start a trend. It is crazy to watch trends spread across my college campus. L.L.Bean duck boots, Converse, Hunter rain boots; one person wears them and then two days later, the whole campus is wearing them. Fashion is unique to each individual, yet at the same time, it is totally adaptable. Each and every person can display their personality through their clothing and accessories. That is the beauty of fashion.

I find myself loving oversized sweaters and T-shirts. I live in jeans and leggings. Sandals and slip-on sneakers are my favorite way to spice up an outfit. I wear the same two necklaces everyday, and have been for years. The things I hunt for when I am shopping are rings; my two favorite rings are from Rome and Santorini, which I found while I was abroad last semester. Overall, I would say that my style revolves around comfort, but I always choose unique pieces to add to my closet.
