Hey Fashionistas/os!
I am excited to be back again for the summer. As you might have noticed in the photos, I am rocking a not so familiar fashion item, a braced boot. Yes, I broke my ankle and am stuck in this thing for the summer, but I’m not going to let it stop me from wearing some of my favorite fashion trends this season! Summertime is one of my favorites because everything is very carefree. I live on the lake so it’s very enjoyable and relaxing getting to spend time on the beach and river with my family and friends. You’ll be able to find me laying by my pool or at our local coffee shop most of the time this summer.
I will be a junior at the Ohio State University, and I can’t believe I am saying that right now. Time is flying by! It feels like yesterday I was planning out my freshman dorm room. What I can say about the past two years is that I’ve learned a lot about myself in that time. It’s been a blast being able to meet new people and try new things and I am looking forward to continuing to grow the next two years. Being a part of CollegeFashionista has helped to shape who I am as a fashion writer and blogger. I also have my own personal blog that I update frequently! I love putting together outfits and following the latest fashion trends. Besides the fashion world I am constantly obsessing over, I love traveling, trying new food and being adventurous. Lately I have been fascinated by the world beyond what I know and antsy to get out there and see it.
My personal style is very laid back and bohemian. Lately, I have been loving the look of simplistic layers. From lacy bralettes to dainty necklaces, I want it all! The outfit I am wearing here definitely describes my summer style. I love comfortable rompers and dresses that are casual but can also be dressed up for an event. I am either living in these or a pair of high-waisted jean shorts and a loose tank or T-shirt! As for shoes, the one that I am wearing here is my all-time favorite for this season. I think lace-up shoes are a great trend going on lately that can go with any type of outfit.
