Ciao Fashionistas/os. My name is Jessica Stanzione and this is my second semester writing for CollegeFashionista in my junior year of college! So far I have had a great experience and I hope to only learn more in 2016! I attend Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, which is about two hours from the Big Apple. I am studying abroad in Florence, Italy this semester, so keep an eye out for some beautiful scenery and fashion trends.
I grew up in a small town in Northern New Jersey, about 20 minutes from Manhattan. I decided to attend Marist College after high school because I was interested in the fashion program. I soon decided I would like to major in Public Relations and minor in Fashion Merchandising. I became fascinated with pursuing a career in fashion PR. I am very passionate about the industry and CollegeFashionista has helped me take that first step in analyzing fashion trends and putting my writing skills to work. I am thankful for the opportunity I have being a Style Guru, as well as my new job in being an account manager for various social media accounts for clients with a marketing agency. 2015 has given me amazing learning opportunities, and I cannot wait what the future has to hold, especially this coming semester in Europe.
My style is a mixture of edgy and boho. I love wearing black and mixing it up with lighter accessories. My favorite brands include Free People, Vintage Havana, and NASTY GAL. I love following the latest trends and keeping my closet exciting and well, trendy!
