Hi Fashionistas! My name is Jennifer Nevin and I am so excited to be given this amazing opportunity to be a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista! I am currently a sophomore at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York but my home town is in Bergen County, New Jersey. I am majoring in Fashion Merchandising and double concentrating in Fashion Promotion and Business.
I have had a passion for fashion since I was a little girl. My aunt and I used to go to the department store pretty frequently and we would always somehow end up with about 15 new items of clothing. When I was five years old and my parents asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up, I would always say a fashion designer.
As I grew older, I was unsure of what I wanted to major in and what job I wanted to have for the rest of my life. When I visited Marist College, I found out that they had a exemplary fashion program and I decided it was the perfect place for me. Ever since I started my freshman year, I am so grateful that my parents have allowed me to follow my dreams. I could not be happier with my decision and I am truly doing what I love to do.
In this outfit, I am wearing my favorite high neck Free People top and ripped jeans, two colorful layering necklaces, a pair of chunky cut out heels, and a perfect essential cross-body to finish off the look!
