STYLE GURU BIO: Jacqueline Richtman

Hi y’all! My name is Jacqueline Richtman, and I attend the University of Georgia, where I am majoring in public relations and minoring in English. Pretty much at any given time, you can catch me taking pictures of cute clothes, talking about celebrities and their to-die-for styles, scrolling through fashion brands’ Instagrams or online shopping. I hate to state the obvious, but I am sort of in love with the fashion universe. With trends going in and out so quickly, its fast-pace keeps me on my toes and saves my life (and my closet) from slowly becoming boring. Being able to show the world your creative side is a bonus too!

Describing my style is definitely a challenge. Growing up, I wore more girly outfits for sure, mostly because I was obsessed with princesses. Gradually, my style evolved, and I wear more trendy and casual clothing. If I had to choose anyone’s closet to steal from, it would totally be Kendall Jenner’s.

Recently, my biggest obsession is chokers. The ’90s are coming back, and I hope they are here to stay. I don’t know if it’s because I was born in the ’90s or if it’s because Friends is one of my favorite shows, but the style back then was killer. With chokers, crop tops and ripped jeans, there are so many options to experiment with, and I love it.

For my outfit here, I paired my favorite PacSun choker with my American Eagle Outfitters high-waisted distressed jeans and a fringe top from Forever 21.
