STYLE GURU BIO: Hannah Boyle

Happy summer, Fashionistas/os! After long nights of studying and frustration, we can finally sit back and relax for a couple of months. Whether you’re hanging back home or sticking around campus, the absence of school buildings and  professors is something everyone can celebrate. Summer is a time for adventure, relaxation and of course, shopping, three things I am super excited to do.

I currently attend the College of Charleston in South Carolina. Next fall semester will begin my sophomore year and I am currently undecided in my major, but am leaning towards business administration. Living in a historic city downtown is a dream come true for me because of the versatile places and people. During my free time this summer, you can usually catch me at one of the many coffee shops, headed to the beach with friends or exploring Charleston’s beauty.

I would have to describe my style as minimal-chic with some ’70s-inspired trends. I tend to stick to the basics, black and white because of its classic combination. My day-to-day outfits maintain casual with three must-have accessories: statement sunnies, a choker and of course, my cross-body bag to hold my odds and ends of things.

Another semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista excites me, not only because I get to capture and write about fashion, but also because I can learn what inspires others. As Gianni Versace said, “Don’t be into trends. Don’t make fashion own you, but you decide what you are, what you want to express by the way you dress and the way you live.”

Let’s get this RAD summer started!
