STYLE GURU BIO: Grace Billiski

Fall—and being back at school—is finally here, which means this semester is going to be filled with a whole new set of RAD articles to follow!

This is my second semester as a Style Guru, and I am ecstatic about another opportunity to be able to write about fashion. I have always been obsessed with clothes—not all of them were the best—but either way, it was always fun for me. When the chance to work at Gap arose, I obviously had to work there. With an amazing work environment and an even more amazing discount, it was a great way for me to get my foot in the door in the fashion world. I love learning new things every time I go to work, even if I spend most of my time putting new price tags on clothes or wiping up spilled drinks in the dressing room. Working in retail is such a fun way to learn about the fashion industry and how to communicate with people.

I will be a sophomore this year at Niagara University; aside from the learning aspect, I am a part of a sorority on campus, Alpha Sigma Alpha, and it is one of the best decisions I have made thus far. I was able to attain a position (I am Public Relations Chair), and I have met some of the most amazing girls that have made my college experience 10 times better than it already was!

This year will be busy for me, considering I am taking six classes and writing as a Style Guru. However, I am ready to kick it into high gear after all the relaxing I have gotten this summer. While hanging out on the beach or around my house, I discovered my new favorite reads which include The Little Black Book of Style by Nina Garcia, and #GIRLBOSS by Sophia Amoruso—this made me want to become the best girl boss I can be this school year (thank you Sophia).

While I am not immersed in school work, I am more than excited to hang out with my friends whom I have missed like crazy over the summer. From walks on the gorge, to exploring Canada, I cannot wait for the new adventures Niagara Falls will bring me this year. Stay tuned for more articles from me this semester!
