Hey y’all! I’m Emily Wells, a junior majoring in fashion and textile brand management and marketing at North Carolina State University. My ultimate goal is to move to Los Angeles after college, but for now I’ll focus on graduating on time.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been infatuated with all things fashion. From the moment my mom let me pick out my own outfits, I’ve let my style grow and change with even some of the worst looks (gauchos, fourth grade). I developed an undying obsession with shoes and handbags, and that obsession may be the only thing about my style that doesn’t change weekly. I 100 percent believe that the right pair of shoes will make the outfit, and I buy clothes to match my monumental collection of shoes.
While I love to throw on a comfy tee for class, nothing is more fun than putting together an outfit that inspires confidence in my every move, especially when I’m not sacrificing comfort for style. I could not resist grabbing this top as soon as I saw it online, and I can tell it’s going to be hard not to wear it to every outing for the rest of ever. I categorize sage as a neutral, and it goes great with the newest addition to my shoe closet. P.S. Self-control is hard when it comes to fringe and tassels.
