STYLE GURU BIO: Elizabeth Morales

Hey Fashionistas and Fashionistos!

I’m Elizabeth Morales and this is my sixth (and, sadly, last) semester with CollegeFashionista. In addition to being a Style Guru for six semesters, this is also my fourth semester as an Editorial Intern. I am so thankful for all the wonderful opportunities I’ve had through working with this organization for the past two years. I’m sad to be leaving but I can’t wait to continue to utilize my interest in fashion, writing, and photography after graduation this spring.

I’m a senior at DePauw University majoring in psychology and Spanish with a minor in art history. I am the Campus Correspondent of DePauw’s chapter of Her Campus, as well as a member of DePauw’s cheer squad. As active as I am on campus, I still try to make sure I have time to keep up with the fast-paced and constantly changing fashion world.

My personal style evolves daily, yet I try to always look at fashion as a form of art and self-expression. Generally, I tend to stick to neutrals and muted colors (because who doesn’t love an all-black outfit?), but lately, I’ve started to fall in love with pastels and metallics. This semester you’re sure to see me in lace, velvet, and satin pieces. Additionally, I’ll definitely be wearing (faux) fur coats as long as this winter holds out. Combining my true love for dark colors with my new-found love for pastels and metallics into one outfit is something I’m striving to accomplish this semester.

I’m so excited to start my final #RAD semester with CollegeFashionista. Make sure to follow me on social media so that you don’t miss a thing!
