There’s something incredible about picking the perfect outfit that exactly expresses your current mood. It’s one of the many reasons why I love fashion. The ability to transform one’s exterior through different fabrics, colors and styles is a liberating and empowering experience.
But being a fashion enthusiast wasn’t innate for me. Dissimilarly to most Fashionistas, my body image issues drew me to fashion. I practically hated the way I looked, so change needed to happen. Little did I know that fashion would lead me on the everlasting journey to confidence and self-acceptance.
As my style has evolved, I’ve developed my signature style, and it must include my hat, leather jacket and black denim. I love the way these look amid nature backgrounds. The whole aesthetic gives a mix of edgy and industrial with a warm, earthy vibe.
Currently I reside in Seattle, WA and attend Seattle Pacific University. I’m in my third year. I’m majoring in Communications with a Journalism track. I’m also the founder and creative director of “DebbyBooVlogs” blog and YouTube. All fashion, beauty, and natural hair trends that I love will be on these platforms.
