STYLE GURU BIO: Daniella Lima

It’s hard speaking about yourself, especially when you already did it twice before. It’s my third STYLE GURU BIO for CollegeFashionista and I will make it different this time. Taking the New Years spirit, I will speak about life and give a message to all of you.

As Timon and Pumbaa say: Hakuna Matata! What means no worries for the rest of your days. Life is too short and you just have one chance of being and making others happy. Don’t keep grudges. Don’t spend your time angry. Don’t wish bad things to others. Speak less. Do more. Fill your heart with gratitude. Just love, especially yourself. Don’t be afraid of dreaming. Dreams come true when we truly believe in them. Make someone laugh. And laugh together. More hugs, please! Say a kind word to someone that needs it. Be kind. Be yourself, always. Don’t let people bring you down without your permission. Keep in mind that you are beautiful in your way. Travel around the world. Meet people and make friends. Stay in peace with your mind, your heart and your body. Read more. Listen to music every day. Enjoy your free time with people you love and love you back. Don’t be jealous. You have everything you need to be happy. Remember something funny and just laugh, even by yourself. People will think you are kinda crazy, but who cares?  In the end we only regret the chances we didn’t take.

I consider myself a lucky girl for everything I have: a beautiful family, the best friends ever, a place to live, a career in progress and, the most important, peace. I’ve never been so in peace as I am nowadays. I hope everyone has a beautiful and illuminated new year! 2015 will bring new goals and opportunities; don’t waste them.

For those who don’t know me yet, just a little introduce. My name is Daniella, but you can always call me Dani. I’m almost 25. I live in Rio de Janeiro since I was born. I’m the only child. My major is Design and by now I’m getting specialized in Fashion Design as well. Hope you guys enjoy my articles and share with all your family and friends! It’s a honor writing for you.
