Hello there, my fellow earthlings! Can you believe it’s already fall? The fall season has truly hit us like the news of Zayn Malik leaving One Direction, with one huge slap in the face (Zayn’s departure still stings). Though going back to school seems very tragic, it still gives us room for a new beginning and I hope you are all excited for what’s to come.
My name is Brisa Gomez, and I’m a 22-year-old girl trying to find her place in a runway of fashion lovers and go-getters. I enjoy thrifting, French fries, cute boys and watching any good movie or show that I suddenly might become obsessed with. My current fashion favorites would have to be denim, sneakers and a good shade of lipstick. I also recently started my own YouTube channel where I share my love for fashion, lifestyle and anything creative. So if you’re curious, feel free to check it out—maybe you’ll even giggle. Being a part of the CollegeFashionista family has been such a rewarding experience. I have learned so much and continue to build and create new skills I will forever be grateful for. This will be my fourth semester with this great team and I’m so happy to be on this fun ride.
This fall I will be a transfer student at Florida International University where I will be majoring in Advertising. I’m excited to be on a new campus and have the chance to capture cool Fashionistas/os along the way. It’s always great to see the smiles and excitement of the cool kids I get to take photos of, and witness how amazing and universal fashion can be. So here’s to a fun semester, to creating ourselves and inviting others to be a part of it.
