STYLE GURU BIO: Bailey Taylor

Hello everyone! My name is Bailey, and I am currently a senior at the University of Arizona and member of TREND Fashion Club on campus. I have an ever-fluctuating style, constantly shifting from classic to trendy, and I am always on the hunt for the newest accessory.

I consider myself a bag connoisseur, forever saving up for the next must-have bag. I love to travel with my family and pick up bags from across the world, each one a token of the incredible memories I’ve had. My number #1 travel rule is always to always purchase a once-in accessory. Whether it be a Céline in London or a funky necklace from the local market, you will never forget the memories attached to that item and how special the purchase was. I don’t believe in buying pieces simply to buy them; accessories are pieces of your collection and should have a great story no matter how much or how little they cost!

I spend my winters traveling to rainy Seattle, resulting in the need for oversized sweaters and fabulous coats, like the one I’ve chosen here. I am a strong purveyor of monochrome, consistently wearing out all the black in my closet. I sought to avoid fading into the gloomy Seattle weather by adding a bit of color with my bag and a tan sweater to offset all the black. Being a Seattle native, I no longer fear the rain and am willing to brave puddles in an open toe bootie, albeit a risky choice.

I am looking forward to returning to Arizona soon, retiring the bulky sweaters and trying out some fun rompers and hats for the spring!
