Hey all! My name is Ashley Fearon, and I currently attend Rutgers University. I am majoring in communications with a concentration in public relations, and minoring in Africana studies and music production. Wasn’t that a mouthful? My interests in school definitely reflect my interests in life. I’m a multifaceted being with an unquenchable curiosity and enthusiasm.
As I’ve grown as a person, I’ve developed a love for photography, traveling, acting, and most importantly, singing. Expressing myself has always been something I gravitate towards. I’ve found that through creativity, I can satisfy my need to be fully expressed, and also encourage my peers to do so as well. I’m always looking for a creative outlet, and as of recently I started a “dream wall” in order to make my visions for the future a reality. The Dream Wall holds me more accountable for the goals that I’ve set out and remind to keep shooting for the stars.
My style isn’t as eccentric as my personality. I like to keep things simple and feminine. Every now and again, I enjoy adding color like the red A-line skirt I’m rocking, whether that be with accessories or in a piece. I opted to add a bit of a risque, feminine touch with the mesh long sleeve top. Finally, I completed the look with my simple yet practical Burberry rain boots. What I love about these boots is how they’re versatile, yet stylish.
I’m a native New Yorker, born and raised in Brooklyn. The grind, the pressure, and the adversity found in the city gave me the exact push and motivation that sparked my hunger to succeed despite the odds. Now I know and value the power of hard work, strength, and opportunity. As I plan my career I constantly am looking for ways I can highlight my talents, and channel them into something amazing and moving. CollegeFashionista has given me the platform to do just that.
