My name is Anna Hutchinson but all my friends and family call me Annie. I am very excited to be a part of the fall 2015 CollegeFashionista Style Guru team! I’ve decided to return because I really enjoyed participating in the summer 2015 internship program. I’m a double major in organizational communications and digital media programming and management at SUNY New Paltz. This fall I will be keeping an eye out for the best fashion trends in New Paltz Village. Please follow me and RAD to show support!
As a teenager, I’ve always had subscriptions to fashion magazines like Teen Vogue and Seventeen. From reading up on fashion trends and seeing them first hand in the big apple, I’ve always embraced my love for new clothing! In recent years, I have also found a passion for accessorizing and adding to my closet. Since I’ve gone away to college, I’ve also taken an interest in documenting others through my photography. I truly believe that my own style reflects the simple but trendy style that I am most comfortable with. Although I love to wear dresses, skirts and plain T-shirts. At heart, I know that black leggings and a blouse will always be my go-to outfit. I love to replenish my closet at least a few times every month and I always donate old clothing whenever it’s time to bring in the new.
Once again, I’d like to say that I am very happy to be returning as a Style Guru to such an amazing internship opportunity with CollegeFashionista. As Coco Chanel once said,”fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street. Fashion has to do with ideas the way we live, what is happening.”
