STYLE GURU BIO: Anna Van Orman

Hey everyone! Thanks for visiting my page, and please allow me to introduce myself to you! I am a senior at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where I am double majoring in strategic communications and professional writing and minoring in management. I went to high school in Seattle, Washington, and it’s become my favorite place in the world.

My ultimate dream is to work in public relations or editing in the fashion industry, and I’m so happy to have the chance to write for CollegeFashionista this semester!

I love black clothes, dogs, Harry Potter and the ocean. I got my love for fashion from my mom, who is one of the most stylish people I know. Even though my mother and I have very different styles, she can always pick out items for me that I end up loving.

Since most of my outfits this semester will fall in the darker color schemes, I decided to share one of my more colorful outfits for my first post, with a skirt that I fell in love with the moment I saw it. Featured is the bag that has been my go to all summer, because of the amazing and unique metallic green color of it and the fun fringe accents. Seattle has currently been going through a rare heat wave, so this light airy skirt paired with the silky white shirt allow me to go outside without slowly melting away. The way the ombre colors of the skirt perfectly melt together embodies why I think of fashion as my favorite art form.

I hope you got to know a little bit about me from this post, and I can’t wait to share even more with you all as the semester progresses! Happy blogging to all.
