Hey all! My name is Allison and this is my second full semester here at CollegeFashionsista. I’m so glad to be back and working with such an amazing group of rad people for the upcoming semester!

Though I am a current junior, I am no closer to deciding on a major or career path as I was when I walked onto campus freshman year. I’ve dabbled in everything from engineering to communications and I’ve taken a bit of something from each major. As my time in college comes down to only three semesters (yikes), I’m now focusing on traveling, learning, and enjoying every minute of life.

When I’m not in class or interning, you can usually find me either walking down a checkout lane or hiking trail. With winter not in full force, my time is now mostly spent sweating at the gym or looking up tropical destinations on Pinterest. I’m your stereotypical millennial when it comes to my love of social media and you can always find me within 10 feet of my phone.

When it comes to style, colors and I certainly don’t get along. I stick to a strict palette of muted colors and neutrals, with the occasional bold accessory. You will almost always see me sporting a hat (trust me this bald head gets cold quick) and wearing some type of black. I have a serious love for vests and gold jewelry, and enjoy scarves that can fully double as a blanket.

For winter, my must haves are anything that keeps me cozy warm in this awful New England climate. Chunky sweaters like the one I’m wearing are an essential. Pair these with a cute pair of booties and black jeans and I am good to go. Also crucial for this winter is my Apple Watch. I guess it’s a way for me to get a visual of how much or little I actually do over break, especially when I’m working out. New year new me, right?

As 2017 begins, I can’t wait to see what this coming year will bring. Cheers to new beginnings and let’s have another RAD semester!
