Hi everyone! My name is Alex Riba and I am a returning Style Guru at CollegeFashionista. I’m a junior at New York University, a school where there is no shortage of amazing outfits to shoot for the blog! I can’t believe that there are only three semesters left for me at college, but I can’t wait to share them with the CF team.
One of the reasons that I continually decide to be a Style Guru for CF is because the team provides a unique internship experience. Not only can you style looks and decide who you want your post to be about, but you get to handle the production of a blog post that gets posted onto a professional website. Every Style Guru is different in their own way, and their style and personality shine through their posts.
I live for polished looks with a bit of pizzazz, so this bold legging pairs really well with my classic coat and flats. You can’t go wrong with black, and this fact resonates especially in the winter, where the last thing you want to resemble is a marshmallow in a puffy coat. Scarves are a must, seeing as though the wind gets to be the worst part about New York winters. Purely bitter is the only way to describe it, but well worth the bundle.
I am more than excited to be a part of the CF team this semester. It’s going to be a RAD one. The variety of posts that we get to share as a fashion-loving community are so amazing and serve as inspiration for us all. That being said, have a fantastic semester and I hope you enjoy my articles!
