No matter what, no matter when, black and white will always be the cool girl’s staple color combo. As a Fashionista, I adore simplicity. If it looks clean and simple, then I’m definitely all for it. Being a fashion icon is hard! Having a few good high fashion ensembles under your belt is most certainly a plus. This look is classic chic—anyone can do it and you’ll look like a baby millionaire.
Our Fashionista has paired a beautifully knitted top from Zara with white pants from Zara as well, similar to the ones here. What I love most about this top is the fabric. It’s a nice heavy knitted fabric and is a basic that everyone should have. The white jeans are also so comfy and have confidence right in the back pocket. You could easily substitute the top with something else with ruffles or a complicated back. The jeans also could be exchanged with trendy ripped jeans or boyfriend jeans. This Fashionista also grabbed a pair of espadrilles to make the outfit more summery. These are totally hot and on trend at the moment—every fashion girl has a pair. They’re so easy and comfy, and so ideal for beachy outings. When else are you going to wear espadrilles? To put the sprinkles on this ensemble cake, our Fashionista added a simple pop of color. The much loved Rebecca Minkoff bag is back again! Reusing favorite pieces is most certainly a must: if you love something, why not use it? If you wanted to jazz this outfit up, you could match your espadrilles to your bag (my mom always tells me to match my shoes to my bags so she’s probably right).
