STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Pretty Thrifty

As much as I love gazing into store windows at shiny, brand new articles of clothing, the traditional appeal of thrift stores holds a special place in my heart. Thrift stores are similar to enormous treasure chests brimming with tons of great bargains, especially when they include fashionable items. Personally, I enjoy discovering unique objects that are one of a kind while feeling elated when uncovering a fashionable piece that is in mint condition. That and who can argue with the price tag that goes well with any college student’s limited budget?

This Fashionista totally adopts thrift store apparel while still looking utterly fashionable. Her vintage finds include her distinctive brown and orange bag that is decorated with an exclusive gold padlock. The ultimate black fedora gives off a cool girl vibe while the dated (but awesome!) sunglasses add extra character to the attire. Last but not least, the bright neon pants add the ideal amount of color to help brighten a long day of classes. These timeless items complemented the rest of the Fashionista’s winter ensemble like the sleek black peacoat that gives her figure a slim silhouette. The black and white striped gloves are a cute addition to the attire while the stylish knee-high boots keeps her cozy along with the equally warm and bright scarf, which gives off a ready-for-spring vibe.

With an outfit this stylish and affordable, this Fashionista is pretty thrifty and knows where to find her treasures.
