STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Outstanding Oxblood

November 10th, 2015 at 2:00am

Fall is the season of warmth. We eat warm foods and desserts; we snuggle up with that special someone to keep warm; and, we wear warm colors such as orange, brown and red. Oxblood is a deep, sultry red and it is a must-have in your fall wardrobe. Despite its unusual name, many females are spotted wearing oxblood tops, skirts and dresses. Don’t believe me? Well, then check out this Fashionista!

This Fashionista definitely turns heads when she’s out and about. She’s wearing an oxblood dress that fits her snug, it’s quarter sleeved and has an asymmetric cut. Her dress is perfect for Tampa weather, which tends to be neither too hot nor too cold. Her arms are covered, but they balance with her exposed legs. It doesn’t have a pattern, but this Fashionista’s oxblood dress definitely gives a bold statement on its own. This Fashionista dressed up her oxblood dress with minimal, yet bold, accessories and, in doing so created a day to night outfit.

This Fashionista paired her oxblood dress with a statement necklace made up of gold, delicate leaves. How fitting for fall! Her necklace matches the gold accents on her black, leather cross-body purse. Her black, heeled booties are super classy and could definitely keep her feet warm on one of Tampa’s random cold days. Tampa is in Florida, which is known as the Sunshine State, so you can understand why a black floppy hat is necessary. Overall, this Fashionista’s look is very sexy, sophisticated and stylish. I mean, what do you expect from deep, bold colors like red and black?
