STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: One And Done

Leonardo Da Vinci once said,Simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication.” To quote Ann Voskamp, Simplicity is never a matter of circumstances; simplicity is always a matter of focus. I think both of these quotes apply to style, and more specifically, rompers. They are simplistic and sophisticated. Rompers also demand your focus. There are a few ways I like to style a romper. One of them is by wearing an extra-wide brimmed, straw hat. I like pairing it with a hat because it makes you look like you put a lot of effort into your outfit, but really you didn’t have time to wash your hair after being at the pool all day. Throwing on a jean jacket is a second way to style a romper. The jean jacket can make a dressy romper have a more casual feel. Lastly, adding heels to a romper instantly takes you into a trendy, nighttime look. What is better than knowing you only have to put on one garment and you are ready to walk out the door? One and done!

I spotted this Fashionista wearing a colorful, printed romper. She carried an over-sized purse that could totally double as a beach bag, if needed. The purse can also be worn with any outfit since it is two-toned. She accessorized her romper with dainty jewelry, funky nail polish and some black sandals. My favorite part of her look was the back of her romper. She even pinned some of her hair to the side to show off the straps on the back.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “Styling a romper with some soft jewelry and strappy sandals are a must! I love wearing rompers because you don’t see them that often. They are also sleek and comfortable.”
