As we approach the biting cold of the winter months, I couldn’t think of any other trend more fitting than the leather jacket. From wearing it to class over sweats to placing neatly over a suit for a job interview the leather jacket has found its way into the wardrobe of millions. The question is have you been wearing leather lately?
Where I hear leather jacket, I think rock star or motorcycle gang. This trend is not what it used to be. Yes, leather jackets can still be black, oversized and decorated in hardware or it could be fitted, colored and have little to no hardware like the one our Fashionisto is wearing. A leather jacket can fit into many categories: classic, grunge, casual etc. Since this piece is so versatile anyone can wear it. From kids to grannies, this is a go to trend for winter just about every year. A leather jacket can be paired with a lot of different tops and bottoms but jeans are the ultimate match to create a cool, casual look while still looking neat and well put together.
Our Fashionisto wears a gray AllSaints leather jacket, Topman black skinny jeans that he ripped himself, an All Sinners Evolve (ASE) Night Terror shirt, a white Stussy dollar sign hat, and black Vans SK8 Hi Xtuff Reissue Skate Shoes. You can easily see that the look wouldn’t be complete without the leather jacket.
