STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Know Yourself

By this time of the semester, we all are becoming tired of school work and anxious for the upcoming holidays. Luckily, it is almost Thanksgiving which means time away from school and time with family and friends. A little breath of air before finals come along, draining all of our existence (a little dramatic but true). For now, I recommend not to fret over the upcoming stress of finals and what the next day holds. Take it day by day and enjoy now. This Fashionista is encompassing a trendy and comfortable outfit we all could use in our wardrobes. Being comfortable is never a cliché.

A typical fall day is predicted to be somewhat cool, but in this year’s case, there have been some warmer days with the sun beating down. I don’t know about you, but figuring out what to wear in these kinds of conditions drives me crazy. You don’t want to be too hot but also don’t want to be cold. The good thing about this outfit is that it accommodates both needs. The flats are enclosed so your feet don’t get cold but not fully so they don’t get too hot. The jeans and light sweater are perfect for the needs of the recent unpredictable weather. By adding the vest, it is easy to take on and off, depending on if you need a little extra warm or not. Plus, it is super cute! After all, it is officially fall and we should be settling into our more comfortable clothing.

At the end of the day, stick to what you know and wear what makes you most comfortable.
