It’s here. We can now see a light at the end of the tunnel. There’s only two more weeks until spring. Unfortunately, seasons may technically change overnight, but the weather often goes through an awkward transition phase, almost like puberty. If you weren’t awkward in middle school, I probably don’t trust you. As temperatures ride a riveting roller coaster of ups and downs, so do our weekly wardrobes. By April, it’s possible to go to class with a sweater and jacket and leave class almost baking in the sun. But don’t fret! There are solutions to such unpredictable weather.
This Fashionista successfully found a happy medium amid the ever changing climate. She dons one of my favorite trends—a fur vest. While it seems everyone these days owns one of these and wears it the same exact way, this student adds contrast to the look with an urban flannel. She adds more edge with a black jean and boot combo. If you’re petite, a black on black combo on your lower body helps to slim and lengthen your frame. She accessorizes the ensemble with another trend: turquoise. The rings she wears give her outfit a little bohemian flare making it chic yet youthful.
Fur vests are the perfect addition to your spring wardrobe. While the garment adds warmth, it’s easy to pair it with lightweight tops or dresses to be comfortable no matter what the weather is like.
