STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Dressed Like A Daydream

I’ve woken up a number of days this November and pinched myself because I thought this warm weather had to be a dream. November in Wisconsin is normally filled with sleet, windstorms and temperatures so low it makes getting out a bed a huge accomplishment. This November has been extremely moderate, to say the least. With temperatures rising as high as 75 degrees during the day and as low as 40 degrees at night, dressing for the day can be quite the task, but this Fashionista is up for the challenge.

The primary focus of this Fashionista’s look is her plaid blanket scarf. Blanket scarves are very on trend right now. They are sold in a variety of different colors and patterns. The blanket scarf is fashionable and practical, and the fluffy fabric also acts as a wind blocker on extra breezy days. Bulky and bold scarves can add a splash of class to any fall look. They are a great way to layer coats and sweaters.

This Fashionista uses her scarf to stay extra cozy on a warm fall day. She proves that scarves are not just for the coldest of days. On cold days, wearing the scarf with plenty of other layers can be cozy and chic, but taking away a few of the layers allows the scarf to be the focus of the look. The best part about these cuddly pieces of fabric is that they require minimal effort to style. The scarf can make a simple pair of jeans and plain T-shirt look super RAD! This fall, make sure to invest in some great accessories to make your simple looks really stand out.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “My advice is to unlayer during warm days, but always pack a few extra layers for those cold walks home from the library.”
