STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Cheap is Chic

Before I get started I have to say that I am not normally a fan of jeans, but I absolutely love these vintage Levi 701’s. Who would of thought that the “mom jean” would ever be in style? I started seeing this style of jean being sold everywhere and eventually I just had to have a pair. I ended up finding these jeans for $15.00 on PoshMark, a website where you can buy and sell used clothing. The thing I like most about them is that they are super flexible. I can breathe and move around super easily in them. With them being a dark wash, it pretty much goes with everything I own.

For this outfit, I kept it real simple with a white tank top from H&M. The slits on the sides make it easy to tuck into jeans. When it comes to the shoes, I was torn between two different pairs. Ultimately, I just had to go with the gold and white platforms. They are fabulous. I got them last year at Target for just $5.00 (SCORE!). I tend to keep my accessorizing to a minimum, minus the fact that my srunchie will never leave my arm. So with that being said, I paired the outfit with my all time favorite gold-bar necklace from Urban Outfitters.

Price isn’t everything. You can find awesome things for super cheap! I got this entire outfit for just $25.00. Getting ideas from your favorite celebrities, bloggers, websites etc. is a great idea. You just have to know where and how to look for these styles all while keeping it within your budget!
