STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Bearing The Cold With Boots

January 20th, 2015 at 2:00am

At Syracuse University, the weather tends to be frightfully cold. However, the bitter cold never seems to stop our winter Fashionistas on campus. This Fashionista is a junior Broadcast and Digital Journalism major from New Hampshire. She always keeps the trends happening even when it is 10 degrees outside. Brynn is sporting a pair of black L.L.Bean boots that are particularly on trend.

The reason L.L.Bean boots are so popular is because of their stylish features as well as their ability to provide you with guaranteed warm feet! With the webbed toe, rubber sole and wool interior, these boots are made for the snow. It is crucial to have a solid pair of snow boots for the winter, especially in Syracuse, New York. Not only do these boots keep your feet warm and from sliding all over the snow, they also come in a variety of colors and styles. You can get the short style, like this Fashionista, or you can get the longer style which is good for trudging through the snow on your way to class.

Winter is pretty rough already, so why not brighten up your day by wearing a comfy pair of boots? There are various styles such as the Nordic Style or the class Bar Harbor All-Weather style. Since these boots come in so many different styles and colors, they are likely to match any outfit you have on no matter what the color or style of your parka or sweater is. L.L.Bean boots are a great investment and also very stylish!

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “Winter boots are a necessity, but stylish winter boots are even better.”
