Graduation is a big day across the board. Whether you are a graduate yourself or the sister/girlfriend/best friend of one, your look will be forever immortalized in photos and Instagram shots for generations to come. Instead of wearing something over-the-top or regrettably trendy, go for classic pieces that will withstand the test of time. The best way to do this is through well-executed statement jewelry. Check out throughout the week how some of our favorite Style Gurus are wearing Kendra Scott Jewelry to graduation this year for looks that are forever beautiful.

“The semester is coming to a close and we all know what that means —graduation season! I still have one more year to enjoy the amazing University of Georgia, but I will be attending my younger sister’s high school graduation ceremony. Planning an outfit for this type of ceremony can be both fun and challenging. Choosing from a wide range of bright, springtime hues, flouncy dresses and sunny jewelry is a must.

For my first look, I chose to wear a bold, printed maxi dress. Maxis are one of my favorite springtime items to create a fun and relaxed look while looking strikingly elegant. Since the maxi had a darker pattern of blues and black, I paired the dress with a bold pair of red Kendra Scott earrings. The earrings gave the whole look just the right splash of color it needed. I also wore a long, dangling gold necklace and stack of gold bracelets by Kendra Scott.

For my second look, I chose a little more nontraditional style and wore a crop top over a patterned skirt. The skirt had a lot of body in a fit-and-flair style so a more fitted top was necessary. I accessorized this look with the red Kendra Scott earrings and stack of gold bracelets, adding a long necklace with the signature red stone detail. I also included a solid white blazer in case the weather isn’t as warm as expected on graduation day!” Burgess, University of Georgia Style Guru
