How I Made Sweatpants Look Editorial

I am all about being comfortable, but I like to remain stylish while doing so. So, I thought I would share how I make sweatpants a little more stylish. When I was little, all I would wear were sweatpants. My dad had to force me to go to the store to try on jeans. I liked to be comfy at all times, and I definitely didn’t make them look as cool and put together as I do now. In this article, I show how I like to dress up my favorite pair of sweatpants!

For my first look as a Style Guru, I wanted to do something casual but put together. College students are always looking to be comfortable, but they also want to be stylish as well. I firmly believe if you look good, you will feel good, so I try to remind myself of that as I get dressed in the morning.

I paired my sweatpants with an off-the-shoulder top. Off-the-shoulder tops are a huge trend right now and make any outfit look more trendy and youthful. With the lightweight fabric of the shirt and how comfortable sweatpants are, you will be able to eat all the pizza you want. I also threw on a light jean jacket in case the weather changes. This is also something very practical to do in college! I absolutely love how the light wash looks against the black.

For my shoes, I went with an all-black heel. These heels have a cool and edgy look to them because of the high lace-up detail. I’m 5″2, so I like to make myself as tall as possible. If you aren’t a heel lover like me or aren’t comfortable in them yet, an all-white shoe would look just as fab! To accessorize my look, I went with my sunglasses from Quay Australia in the style High Key by Desi Perkins. I also put on a gold choker from Forever 21 with many details to make the outfit pop. I chose to wear all black so that my choker and jacket would stand out.

This look will have you looking amazing and feeling even better; after all, comfort is key!
