ALL IN THE DETAILS: Mixing Colors

Wow, I can’t believe how fast the school year flew by! I can’t believe it is already my last post for the spring semester. I don’t know about you guys, but here in Minnesota, spring has been really interesting. It’ll be 60 degrees one weekend and then 30 degrees the next. But that’s what makes Minnesota so fun, right? Anyway, the outfit I chose for this month’s post is perfect for this weird transitioning of weather that you can put a light jacket over and be good!

In this outfit, the colors are the best part to play around with. The mix of pink, turquoise, and green with the ripped denim is perfect for going into the end of spring and into summer.

For the top, it’s so nice and flowy and is perfect for times when you don’t want to feel too warm or too cold. The fun aztec print is also a nice touch and great detail. The sunglasses are my favorite part about this outfit, I think, because of the fun turquoise shades. These glasses give the outfit a nice pop of color, great for going into the summertime! The ripped jeans are also perfect for those awkward days of not wanting to feel too warm or too cold because the holes give your legs some room to breathe, but also they are jeans so you don’t constantly feel chilly. For the shoes, the subtle color of green makes the outfit complete because of fun sunglasses that she is wearing. All of these elements and small detail of color popping make this outfit come together and perfect for spring and summer.

I hope this helped you style your outfit when going through the transition of spring to summer. Have a great rest of the school year!
