While accessories are an essential part of what makes or breaks a look, so is makeup. I spotted this Fashionista while touring Boise State University’s campus during a summer trip to my hometown. This Fashionista’s beauty look is simple, clean, classic and a perfect pairing with her graphic black and white dress. I love how she utilized a bold lip with simple eye makeup to really make her natural coloring pop. Her makeup philosophy is “You should either go bold with your eye makeup or go bold with your lipstick. Choose one or the other.”
This Fashionista took this same minimalistic approach with her ensemble by making her graphic dress the main focus and keeping the rest of her outfit simple with neutral accessories, including a brown leather cross-body bag (perfect for a girl on the go), nude heels and a black Panama hat. As the old adage goes, “Classics never die.”

This shade is a perfect choice for those looking to enhance their naturally pale skin without being too harsh for their coloring. As a snow-white sister myself I can attest to the power of a good coral lipstick. To complement her bold lips and skin tone, this Fashionista applied a shimmery pale pink eyeshadow all over her eyelid. Next, she highlighted just below her bottom lash line with the same shade to brighten the whites of her eyes. With this step, she recommends using a shade that matches your skin tone for a subtle highlight. She then applied a lengthening black mascara to make her green eyes pop.
