BEAUTY BAR: Pretty in Paisley

As the summer rolls in, temperatures become hotter and colors become brighter. Just like in this Fashionista’s look, color is everywhere, especially in her makeup which makes her eyes pop. Adding light colors to your eyes in the summer will not only brighten your eyes, but will enhance your face as well. Not only did this Fashionista add color to her makeup, but her shadow goes from light to dark with shades of pink. This trend is enhancing the smoky eye but with a twist and one of the reasons why her makeup caught my eye (literally!).

Instead of putting on a neutral shade of color on your eyes, add color! As you can see, this Fashionista paired her shadow with a fun and flowy pink dress. It is simple, easy and makes for a great chic ensemble. If you are feeling daring, add a dark color to your style, especially if you have light-colored eyes.

Now that we understand color on your eyes is a fabulous choice, let’s talk about how you can pull the look together. By adding a soft or matte foundation, and a nude shade of lipstick, you can have bohemian summer vibes just like this Fashionista. If you want, contour your face and add some highlight for an enhanced summer glow. Fashionistas/os, the goal is coordination in your look. Once you have the outfit, find the shades to match and begin experimenting!

What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: All the makeup used in these shots is easy, affordable and will have you looking like a goddess. Most of the products can be purchased from Sephora or Ulta. For starters, this Fashionista used the Revealed 2 palette for the bold pink color in combination with Naked 2 palette. The shadow was paired with the fabulous Eyeko Fat Liquid Liner. To bring in the full effect add IT Cosmetics Mascara, and you now have the perfect pop of color to your gorgeous eyes.
