BEAUTY BAR: Gray-te Hair

I’ve always wanted to dye my hair a cool color, especially since college is the place to try new things! Plus, hair color can add so much to every outfit. It’s a permanent accessory that you can change whenever you want. I still haven’t gotten up the nerve to dye my hair, but I’m going to work on it after seeing this Fashionista’s awesome hair.

She had an ombré effect going from black to a silver gray color. Gray or silver hair has become such a trend for the fall season. She put together an outfit that complemented her hair so well, along with preparing for the cooler weather. Granted, Florida doesn’t really have much of a fall season, but this doesn’t mean we still can’t be a part of the fall trends!

This Fashionista decided to wear a striped T-shirt dress, which is literally made for college women. They are so effortless and comfortable. Just in case you were wondering, this is seriously important for those awful morning classes.  She then paired it with sheer tights; this way she could enjoy the look of tights without being too hot. The neutral colors of the outfit help her gray hair stand out, while the edgy black booties and black tote add the edge.

This Fashionista took a chance to try something new and ended up rocking it. People are always scared to try new things that are way out there, but all you have to do is learn how to work with them.

What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: To achieve a similar look, the best thing would be to go to a salon. This Fashionista went to a Paul Mitchell Salon. They turned her hair white first and then added the color titanium and dyed the roots black. A cheaper route and less permanent way to complete the look is to use hair chalk!
