My second favorite season (aside from spring) is fall. Once September hits, I instantly try to find ways to wear jeans and booties, even if it’s still 90 degrees outside. However, one thing I try to do is find a balance between summer and fall during the in-between months, like August and September. When I spotted this Fashionista, I saw that she found the perfect balance.
When you look at this Fashionista’s whole outfit, you are already aware of her love for the fall. Her Nightmare Before Christmas shirt instantly gives you that impression, and then leads you to notice her RAD cat-eye glasses, black platform shoes, dark nail polish and wine lip color. This Fashionista had a good eye when piecing together her outfit, since she coordinated her dark fall colors well while also keeping cool in the summer heat.
The first thing I noticed about this Fashionista were her shoes. These platform shoes are the perfect mix of summer and fall. Although they’re sandals, they have the ability to be worn in the fall with jeans and a thick cardigan. Even if you buy these sandals toward the end of the summer, you can still wear them until you feel that first snowflake of the season hit your toes.
What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: First, either have your nails painted or paint them yourself, and put on a brown, shimmery color. Then, find your most vampy wine colored lipstick and swipe it across your lips. Now, you’re ready to conquer the world in your most fall appropriate look!
