Summertime means you can incorporate fun, bright colors into your wardrobe once again! This is also the perfect time for you to play with color in your makeup routine. One simple way to do that is with lip colors. Some of my favorite lip colors to wear in the summer are coral, red and fuchsia. If you are a little skeptical about adding bright colors in your makeup, an easy way to start is to pair them with neutrals.
This Fashionista paired black jogger pants with a black tank top to mimic the look of a romper. Her makeup is minimal as well; she just wore a bit of concealer, bronzer and eye shadow to add some depth. Too much blush or eye shadow can take away from a color on the lip. The bright fuchsia lip color she used really stands out against her all black outfit too! A look like this is easy and does not require much time either, which is what we all want in the summer, right?

Try an achromatic scheme, like this Fashionista, and wear all black for nighttime or all white for a daytime look. And remember, if you are wearing a lipstick always use a lip scrub first to get rid of any dryness on your lips! Once you have your new favorite lip color to wear, try playing with different finishes like matte or gloss.
