BEAUTY BAR: Dark Hair, Don't Care

Beauty has been a learned skill for me throughout the years. I see beauty trends and I know what I like and dislike, but like many people I was not sure how to incorporate beauty trends into my fashion. Well, this Fashionista knows exactly how to incorporate these dark beauty trends into her daily lifestyle.

I remember a time, which happened to be most of my grade school years, that I had wished that I was naturally blonde. Every celebrity on the magazine covers had blonde hair and it was the hair trend for years. But now, as the Fashionista exemplifies here, dark hair has been on the rise for the past few years. The trends have strayed away from the light hues and dark is in.

I was first immediately drawn to this Fashionista’s lipstick. I love how daring this dark plum is with her soft outfit. Darker hues, when done right, add a perfect feminine touch to any outfit. The dark brown, almost black hair is the perfect hue for this Fashionista’s skin tone.

If you want to try a dark lipstick or your favorite dark hued beauty trend, pair it with a perfectly feminine dress. I love these dark hues with a pale pink or nude. What I love about this Fashionista’s look is that she lets the beauty be the centerpiece instead of the outfit.

What’s on the BEAUTY BAR? One of my favorite lipsticks of all time is Stila, which I typically buy from Ulta. Stila’s “stay all day” lipsticks are perfect for any occasion and they actually do stay for hours. If you want this fashionista’s look, I love their wine colored lipstick. This hue is perfect if you are looking for a deep purple. If you would like to stay with a dark red hue, I love this color. To complete this look, try out a darker hair shade because whether you are tan or like me and cannot find the sun, dark hair complements everyone.
