The holiday season is upon us, and as we try and plan our perfect winter outfits, we also try and figure out which bright lip colors suit us the best for the colder seasons. My personal favorite has got to be the red and berry colors.
I spotted this Fashionista in not only the best lip color of the season, but the best location to visit during the holidays: Rockefeller Center. Dressed both cute and comfy for walking all over Midtown Manhattan with friends, I loved her stylish Chelsea boots and striped hoodie. Her chambray shirt layered on top of her hoodie gave her outfit a little more of a classic feel, and there’s nothing better to wear than a nice pair of black jeans.
However, although I love some cute and comfy fashion, I also love making the morning decision of what bold lipstick I should wear that day. This Fashionista’s lipstick color is the perfect shade, a mix of red and berry hues. The color stands out against the contrast of her skin but does not look too overpowering. By swiping a primer across your lips before putting on your lipstick, you help your color last longer (and some primers even prevent your lipstick from smudging). Adding a primer before your bold lip allows you to eat all of the holiday food you want without leaving it on all of your silverware and food!
