BEAUTY BAR: Beach Babe Bun

With the spring weather, it’s always difficult to predict the weather. In fact, on a rainy morning, the last thing I want to do is worry about my lion mane hair getting all crazy from the humidity. The best result?  A knotted bun on the top of my head works perfectly. Not to mention, there is something so classic and chic about the knotted bun look. It’s easy, clean looking and an easy go-to when in a rush or when it’s just not your day. You can dress it up or down or just wear it during a full day of classes.

This Fashionista works this look out for the average rainy day roaming the streets. What I really like about her look is how she makes it look so effortlessly with the rest of her outfit. Her makeup is clean looking, much like Gigi Hadid, and it works because it doesn’t distract too much from her iconic hair trend. Accomplishing the knotted bun can be troublesome, especially when you have thin hair, so I decided to ask this Fashionista what she did to make hers look so perfect. Sea salt! Apply sea salt to your hair before you blow dry it and dry it with minimum usage of a brush. Then, following that, tease the ends a little bit before you decide to sleek it up in the bun. The conceptive idea is to apply minimum effort and to not think too much about it.

What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: To accomplish this look like a pro, you will need sea salt, a detangle brush and some mousse.
